IBM Jazz Team Server v4.0.5 setu
Hi All, I am in the process of installing and setting up IBM Jazz Team Server v4.0.5. In the process of setup I encountered two issues: The IBM Jazz Team Server/RRC v 4.0.5 installation succeeds and the server starts up without errors; but the express (and custom) setup keeps failing while finalizing the Requirements Management application. [Please note that the steps below were performed during installation/setup:
The error message in the logs are as follows: jts.log com.ibm.team.repository.common.transport.ServiceActivationDisabledException: CRJAZ1479I An attempt was made to activate the "com.ibm.team.dashboard.service.internal.DashboardService" service during a period when activation was disabled. This occurs most often when the server is coming down. at com.ibm.team.repository.common.transport.internal.registry.AbstractActivationManagerOwner.doActivate(AbstractActivationManagerOwner.java:728)

I would appreciate any help to resolve this issue. Thanks in advance Vibi |

The error related to JTS can come from a variety of reasons. What is the caused by exception in that stack trace?
A screenshot from the web UI registration page may help as well. The RM error is related to the registration error - RM expects you to register the application to JTS and finalize the RM setup. |

Hi Vibi, to verify if RM got registered correctly, check:
/jts/admin -> menu Server -> Registered Applications, and see if RM appears.
If not, from your browser try: https://<your host:port>/rm/scr and see if you get a rdf/xml response back.
I do see 4 applications on the Registered Applications page
