Hi, I am running RDM 4.0.5 on Redhat 5.9 64bit, and Tomcat always got crash when loading them diagram page of web GUI.

The errors message is : *** stack smashing detected ***: /opt/IBM/MyJazzTeamServer/server/jre/bin/java terminated

Below is the similar post in forum, and someone answered it is defect fixed in 4.0.4

There is a technotes on it, stating it has been fixed in 4.0

But it looks still there in 4.0.5. Any advises? Thanks.

My environment:

[root@ruprecht server]# cat /etc/*release
Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server release 5.9 (Tikanga)
[root@ruprecht server]# uname -a
Linux ruprecht.localdomain 2.6.18-348.el5 #1 SMP Wed Nov 28 21:22:00 EST 2012 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux

RTC,DM,  4.0.5

Hi,

are there any errors in rsadm.log that you can attach here?

Thanks

Those errors shouldn't be the cause of your problems however. Do you have any errors in dm.log or vvc.log?

Thanks

ROTT NEST commented Jan 08 '14, 5:52 p.m.

There are some errors in dm.log, but no errors in vvc.log.

because it is not easy to read if I paste all here, I uploaded the traces here:

Thanks in advance!~:)

There seems to be crash in GTK (see stack at the end). Do you have the latest GTK libraries on your system? If not, see if updating them changes anything. Otherwise see if changing the GTK theme makes any difference.

Hope this helps.
