Has anyone utilized Rhapsody Design Manager ClearCase Doors and RTC yet? If so How?

I have an interesting question for you. Without using the importer for Design Manager... How would one go about using the following setup.
Rhapsody 8.1
Rhapsody Design Manager 5.x for Peer Review
DOORS 9.6.x for Requirements (Not Next Gen)
ClearCase 7.1.2.latest to revision the model.
I am trying to wrap my head around this.
The requirements is what is stumping me. With Gateway sundowning I would prefer not to setup a soon to be eol product.

Some food for thought, if you haven't already chewed on this before.
With Rhapsody 8.1, Rhapsody DM 5.0.1 and DOORS 9.6.x, any linking without gateway in the equation would need to be done via OSLC. It would require that you have DOORS Web Access (DWA).
Here's a quick video, that you can review, which provides details on how it's done with DWA. The video is for an older version, however, the functionality hasn't changed in the newer RHP, DM and DOORS versions.
