We are using RQM4.0.1,SQL Server DataBase. We are seeking for the backup strategy, not only the sqlserver database but also the jazz server, including everything about our RQM,the entirety backup strategy. I saw some articles that mentioned the backup of database, teamserver.properties, log4j.properties,qm.war, repositoryDB,repotools, and the  indices. All the things are necessary? What the backup strategy shoudl be?Looking forward to reply.

Wen,
I would take a look at the following Online Help topic in CLM:

Administering > Administering Rational solution for Collaborative Lifecycle Management servers
Backing up and restoring Rational solution for Collaborative Lifecycle Management applications

This will give you a complete overview on backing up the application(s), Databases, and additional files needed to restore an environment
