RRC - exporting a use case artifact with links to Business Rule requirement

AOC Admin (13631917) | asked Dec 09 '13, 4:18 p.m.

Hello,

I have a user who created a Use Case artifact in RRC 4.0.0.1. Within the rich text, he inserted a business rule requirement that already exists. Then further down in the document, he highlighted some text and created a Business Rule requirement on the spot and provided some attribute values for the requirement. When we use the OOB export artifact as MS Word document, the existing requirement that was referenced in the document shows just the link title. However, the requirement the user created within the UC artifact shows all the attributes along with it,  - see below - Things under BR 20015 show the attribute values. These are not visible in the artifact itself. Is there a way to disable display of artifact details in exported documents (or a way to make them uniform.. a linked artfiact is a linked artifact, regardless of where it was created, so why is the export showing attributes of one BR and not the other?

Thanks,

There are 2 ways to create links 1 just as a hyperlink and the other as a trace link, that appears in the Links sidebar and reports.

In edit mode of the artifact if you select the link and right click there is an option to "Create a matching trace link" which will allow you to create a selected trace link. The default in link creation is "No trace link".

Could the links have been in these different ways?
