RQM v4.0.1 : Seeking Possibilities of implementing a particular hierarchy within RQM
Hi All
Here's a quick requirement challenging the RQM functional capability...... Under RQM v4.0.1, I would like to know if we could configure a predefined process/hierarchy/workflow as defined below. As per the hierarchy : · A single Master plan is prepared at Release level for all work requests under various systems. · A particular work request may also be executed by multiple systems. · No systems level test plan( child plan) is prepared. PFB the diagrammatic representation of the proposed process/hierarchy/workflow. As per this proposed hierarchy/ process/ workflow requirement, · We need to create a single test plan in RQM · A way to segregate the test cases of the various systems under a particular release, without creating any child plans · Progress and status reporting based on 1. Release level 2. System level 3. Work Request(Project) level In line to this requirement, is there an option to create folder like structure for each systems and test suites for each work requests. And if we follow so, will we be able to generate reports based on various levels as mentioned above ? Appreciate any inputs / suggestions on how to align this requirement process into RQM. |

Yes, using a combination of test plans, test suites, test environments, and categories. For more information, see:
