RST Adapter not getting connected to RQM win 7

 Hi,
I am trying to connect RQM from RST using adapter. RST machine is installed on Windows 7 its not getting connected and giving an error "RST not getting connected "Adapter Failed: Failed to login to the server. Reason Connection timed out.One possibility is an invalid project area if connected successfully"

Error remain same even if i put a wrong password or wrong username.

I am not able to find "RQMAdapterOptions.pref" which has been asked on some blogs to delete to get RQM adapter start working

But i don't face this issue on RST which is installed in winXP.

What the are values you are entering for the connection information; can you post them here?

 Sorry its confidential information like my credentials(User name and password)
