How can a Team Area dashboard be configured for each Team Area?

I want all the Team Areas in a Project Area to have the same dashboard, but with the work items restricted to those filed against that team area. I can achieve this by parameterising each query by Team Area, but this involves reconfiguring each widget for each team area.

Is there an easy way of specifying a team area dashboard that is automatically configured for the "Current Team Area"?

I think you can avoid configuration by specifying in the default contents for all team dashboards to use a parameter for the "current team". You can configure this initially in the Dashboard Templates feature within the Project Area Editor (in the Rich Client). See below enhancement request for more details:
