files missing "execute bit" when using clearcase synchronizer

Wondering if anyone has experienced issues with using the ClearCase synchronizer to "import" source code components into RTC, i.e. "executable" property not set to "true" for files with "execute permissions" in ClearCase. Are there any caveats around this that might explain why its not showing up? using RTC 4.0.3 synchronizer...

This defect is fixed in 4.0.5:
IsExecutable flag of files are not replicated by CC synchronizer/hist-importer, also LineDelimiter is not updated by re-sync/re-import (280740)

Thanks for pointing me to this info, I'll work with support if we need to use the hotfix option.
