Export and import of individual project areas via repotools

Hello All,

is there a way to export and import individual project areas using the repotools?

Due to the missing read access permissions, we want to host different team server instances for projects for which users should have no read access.

For that reason, we want to export an existing project area and import it into another server instance.

When the read access permissions are implemented in 2.0, we want to merge the project areas again on one server instance.

Thanks a lot.

You cannot export individual project areas, but you can clone your
repository and archive the project areas that you don't want on each of
the servers. There is a wiki page about the process here:
https://jazz.net/wiki/bin/view/Main/JazzTeamServerCapacityProblem.

A word of warning. While we have committed to supporting read
permissions in 2.0, we haven't committed to supporting repository
consolidation (joining two repos back together). Unless your data is
extremely sensitive, I would recommend sticking with 1 server until 2.0
is released.
