I have a situation where I have three files in RTC that is a part of release package (Release 2.0 example)  that I want to expose to my stakeholders.  I create an asset in RAM called (for example Release 2.0 notes).  With that RAM asset I add a url  linking to each file (or folder)  in RTC.  My question is when I or anybody click on the link within RAM will it take me  to the correct version of the file in RTC associated with Release 2.0 ?  Or will it take me to the current revision.  I need it take me to the correct version.

RAM takes you to whatever the link takes you to. It can't control the other server. So it all depends on what link you put into it. An RTC person would need to respond with how to get a link to a specific file version.
