What permissions do I need to define sprints?

Leons Petrazickis (1568) | asked Oct 01 '13, 4:15 p.m.
There is a project for which I am a member. I'm currently unable to create sprints in it.

1. The timeline interface does not show up on the landing page.
2. When I drill down to the iteration definition screen through the plans interface, I get this error when trying to define a new iteration:
Problem
CRJAZ6053E The 'Save Project Area' operation cannot be completed. Permission is required to complete the operation.

Reason
In order to carry out this operation, you would need permission to perform the following additional actions:
Modify the structure of iterations

What permissions do I need to be able to create sprints? (e.g. scrum master, owner, etc)

How can the current owner give me these permissions?

Hello Leons,

According to what you are attempting to achieve, you need "Save Project Area (server)" permission. It can be granted by your JazzAdmin.

It can be given from Project Area Configuration -> Process Configuration -> Project Configuration -> Permission -> from appropriate group -> Process -> Save Project Area (server)

Hope it helps

DH

How do I get to "Project Area Configuration"? I went into a project I own and found the editProjectArea page. Is that the right page? It doesn't have a "Process Configuration" menu item.
Not Project Area Configuration?

Hi Leons,

In JazzHub, you must be the owner (creator) of the project in order to edit the timeline for the project.
