Hi jazz community,

we're al looking for a possibility to lock the Workitem search in the WebUI (see screenshot).

Is there a possibility to lock the search technically?

I did not find the option to disable quick search.
Anyway it seems that you should look into https://jazz.net/library/article/554/. This might be the answer on all your questions :)

Hi Krysztof.

Thanks for your answer, it was helpful but not quiet that what I've looked for. It is important that the search field doesn't work at all for users. Is it possible to lock this on the database or in the jazz server?

I've seen that RTC uses indices for indexing the workitems:

C:\IBM\JazzTeamServer\server\conf\jts\indices
C:\IBM\JazzTeamServer\server\conf\ccm\indices

Is it possible to lock those from search?

Hi Marco,
I did not find such option in RTC. If you want such function you must create new RFE on jazz.net: https://jazz.net/jazz/web/projects/Rational Team Concert#action=com.ibm.team.workitem.newWorkItem&type=enhancement
