Refresh your browser, and try the operation again. If the problem persists, there might be an issue with the server. Ask your administrator to check the server status

 Hello Khem,

That message is very generic..  The error can occur in different situations.  You will need to provide additional information in order to narrow down the problem to see if there is a solution for the problem you're running into.  If it requires further debugging, you may want to open a PMR with IBM Rational Support.
For example:
~What is the version of RRC?
~Does this problem occur for any CSV file?  Any project?
~Are there additional details to the error message in the UI?
~What errors is logged in the server logs (rm.log) when the problem appears?

For the latest documentation for CLM 4.0.4, see  CSV file import to requirements project. Or, see the same topic in the 4.0.3 infocenter.
Be sure to follow the link to CSV format and examples from the CSV import topic.

Hi Rana, I think the RQM user is missing out on something.

Suggest the user to try to import the csv file by following the steps in this order.

Visit https://jazz.net/wiki/bin/view/Main/RQMExcelWordImporter.

download and install the right and compatible version of RQMExcelWordImporter.

Install it.

Go to the folder which is applicable for your operating system: C:\Program Files\IBM\RQMExcelImporter\Samples or C:\Program Files (x86)\IBM\RQMExcelImporter\Samples.

The RQM user should use only those excel templates to create test cases which are there in this folder.

Create test cases.

Use RQMExcelWordImporter utility to convert into an xml file.

xml file should be saved in the same location where the configuartion file is, to keep it simple, aforementioned directories.

Otherwise conversion will not complete.

Once we have the xml file go to rqm and try importing.
