Why RTC consistently crashed during GUI test by RFT8.2

I used the RFT8.2 test RTC GUI by some scripts under Ubuntu linux.

However, during a process of script the RTC suddenly exit with below exception:

excepiton

and then an Internal Error dialog show:

InternalError

  If I click Yes RTC will closed, if I click No. The RTC will execute next step, but it will closed itself at the same time.

I have not yet get the reason and solutions.

Hello,
seems to be a common problem with xulrunner and depended libraries with Eclipse .
Solutions depends on 32|64bit and Eclipse version and Linux distribution.
My workaround when I use Eclipse 3.6 based products is:
1. Download xulrunner http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/xulrunner/releases/1.9.0.15/runtimes/xulrunner-1.9.0.15.en-US.linux-i686.tar.bz2
2. Extract the files of the tarball to /opt/xulrunner
3. Modify the eclipse.ini -Dorg.eclipse.swt.browser.XULRunnerPath=/opt/xulrunner
4. Restart Client
This worked.

Thanks, my Ubuntu version is12.04, RTC version is 4.0.2 and which xulrunner version will I need, I tried xulrunner 2.0 before, but it never works.

I used xulrunner1.9 and the error disapper!
However, RTC always stop itself at the same place all the same without error hints above.

I think you have an install issue on your machine. Searching reveals at least this: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/7130980/swt-browser-no-more-handles-error. I would check that post and potentially others, if it does not fix your problem..
