Assign Artifacts to collection from within a module

Shirley Jhirad (514151) | asked Jul 06 '13, 6:03 a.m.
Hi,

I was sure it is possible to multiselect artifacts in RRC 4.0.2 from within a module and assign them to a module.
Now as i try to do it, i see this is not possible. could it be?!

Thanks!

Shirley

Is there any specific reason, why this functionality is dropped (http://www.ibm.com/developerworks/rfe/execute?use_case=viewRfe&CR_ID=46961)? Is the idea that the collection might go away in the future? or are there technical reasons?

It would be convenient, to provide this action in the context menu of the selected artifacts within a module.

Thanks,
Donat

I just found on the online documentation https://jazz.net/help-dev/clm/index.jsp?re=1&topic=/com.ibm.rational.rrm.help.doc/topics/r_compare_collections_modules.html (compare modules and collections) under "Module" > Other capabilities "Create a collection from a saved view in a module."
If valid, how can this be done? otherwise please update the documentation!
