A life cycle project template allows you to specify what process templates to use for its project areas.  Is it possible to configure your lifecycle project template so that you can make your project areas share processes of existing project areas instead of having their own?  Thanks!

yes, you need to edit the xml that describes the processes available for the life cycle project.

you can label the thing anything you want..

BUT.. you cannot DO the sharing in the lifecycle project creation.. you must do that in a separate mechanism.
(manually or thru some scripting)..

sharing only works for RTC projects, not RM/QM.

at my last company, we made a utility that did all the setup at once.
create projects, link to master template project (parent), add users to LDAP groups (based on role),
add users to RTC, assign licenses (based on role), add to project, and create team (assign roles for project and team), and deploy reports that were needed by custom dashboards..

we also deleted all the other lifecycle project definitions leaving just the approved one in case anyone used the web ui.
