How can I effectively "publish" whole dashboards from a central one to multiple project areas

With the advent of CLM 6's PLE solution via GC, there will be many more project areas.   We need to / want to build a central dashboard and "publish" it to each project area.

The copy/paste dashboard and the copy/paste dashboard widget are too granular to support the publication.  To give an idea, the PLE nature of the client implies about 60 Lifecycle Project Areas each with 1 DNG, 3 RTC, and 1 RQM.

... btw - this is also an issue for propagation of other CLM elements (enums, categories, process template elements)...

But, let's stick to the dashboard for this thread.

Hi Kevin,

An idea here would be to create a new custom process template with dashboard settings. All dashboard customizations in the process template will be "published" to new project areas.

Cheers,
Will

Will - this works well enough for new project areas.  But ... what about existing project areas?

PLE oriented clients will end up with many long running project areas.  The ability to 'publish' dashboard updates as they evolve their controls (i.e. metrics via reports and widgets) will be an important factor.

BTW - the GC based project area architecture causes similar Dev-to-Ops issues for the other tools and RTC (process template changes, common enum values across the tools etc).  But, for this thread, let stick with the dashboard
