Are there any unsupported instructions on how to get the RRC plugin to partly or fully work in Firefox on Mac OSX?

As far as I know, there are no unsupported documentation as such but IBM recommends to use supported browsers, platform etc to avoid using the products where it has not been formally tested.
The article on RM Browser Add-On may give you some more information

No, the implementation of the RRC plugin is specific to Windows.
