Hello Archana,

both RCR (Rational Common Reporting) and RRDI (Rational Reporting for Development Intelligence) are based on Rational Insight and are using Cognos Business Intelligence as base for the report server. The main differences are:
  • With RRDI the data warehouse is populated by the CLM data collection jobs (Java ETL), while RCR is using a published data movement task in Cognos (Data Manager ETL).
  • RRDI supports all CLM applications on version 3.X and 4.X, while RCR supports only RQM 2.X.
  • RCR is using Cognos 8.4 as back end, RRDI is using Cognos 10.1

Best Regards

Francesco
