Editing a custom field in multiple records at the same time in query results

Mike Shkolnik (9809161143) | asked Jun 04 '13, 4:50 p.m.
In Eclipse:
Run a query. Select a bunch of records. Right-click in the column of any PREDEFINED field and there's an option to change it for all the selected records. Right-click in a column for a CUSTOM field and that option is NOT there!

In the Web Client:
Run a query. Click "edit multiple work items". Select multiple items. Click "add attribute change".
You have access to both predefined and custom fields.

Am I missing something here? Why would Eclipse not allow changing custom fields in query results?

I had noticed the same between 3.0.1 client and 4.0.0.1 client, where I could bulk-edit a custom enumeration in 3.0.1 client but not in 4.0.0.1 client, and I have opened a bug in jazz.net for this.

Thanks Susan. Can you post a link here so folks can subscribe to your work item?

I found it. Looks like they are fixing it for 4.0.4.
