RRC: Is it possible to increase recent comment cache?

Stephen Toop (11112223) | asked May 30 '13, 9:15 a.m.
Hi,

RRC 4.0.1

The recent comment cache seems to be set to 100, is there away to increase this value?

I assume it will be an Advanced Property of the RM application, but I can't see the obvious one.

If it can be changed what performance impact could that have?

Thanks
Stephen Toop

Hi Stephen,

Unfortunately, the max limit for the recent comments is hard-coded to be 100.  There's no option to change that in RRC 4.0.1.

Hi Jason,

Thanks for the response, I was beginning to think the same.

By way of a hook of a chance, you say not in RRC 4.0.1 - does that imply 4.0.2+?

Thanks
Stephen Toop

I specified for 4.0.1 because it was the only version I had checked at that point.  I've had a chance to check more recent versions, and there is still the hard coded 100 comment limit.

Regards,
Jason
