Customizing what happens when a user completes a TER using "Create Result without Execution"

jeff mccallum (302912) | asked May 24 '13, 3:32 p.m.
Running a TER using "Create Result without Execution" and selecting "Working" as the Verdict, without setting any points, will set Deferred points to 100% when the result is created. The "Working" state was never intended to have anything to do with deferral.

Can i modify what happens during this behavior?

Thanks,
Jeff

Hi Jeff,

What's the version of your RQM?

I have just checked the information center of RQM 4.0.1, http://pic.dhe.ibm.com/infocenter/clmhelp/v4r0m1/topic/com.ibm.rational.test.qm.doc/topics/c_execution_verdicts.html, but there is no predefined state "Working", same for RQM 3.0.1 and 4.0, so is that possible anyone renamed any state which have this behavior to "Working"?

You could follow the Note in this help documentation to open the editor for Execution Status and compare yours with the predefined states in the help.

Best Regards,

Bing Dong

As it turns out, someone did modify the default execution verdict's names.

Thanks Bing.
