I am getting seemingly random disconnects on the Eclipse client.  My CCM server has a SQL Server backend.  What could be causing this?

One possible cause is too many build definitions on the CCM application.  If there are over 2100 build definitions with a SQL Server backend, the RSS database query will fail. That failure then causes the repository to disconnect on the client.  The defect to track this issue is here:

In general, this can happen if the Eclipse client has a bad feed. Each time the bad feed tries to update and fails, the associated repository connection will be logged out. This problem was fixed recently in Unable to maintain repo connection with bad feed (Workaround exists) (256886).

The workaround is to either delete the feed causing the problem or to edit the feed settings so that it does not update automatically.
