Can you specify what kind of properties you mean? Are you talking about any scm properties or any other?
Also what is the reason you are asking that question? Have you experienced any issue already? Or you are planning to use many long properties?
RTC files have user properties consisting of key value sets.
I am researching if I can use these properties to store metadata for each file.
It is important to know the limits of these properties before I spend more time pursuing this approach.
