Document "Check in" option for Checked in document
Document "Check in" option available even after the document is already checked in.
Environment:
Win2003 Server: Jazz Server
WinXP: Client
MS Office 2003
Beta build (Mainsoft SharePoint)
SharePoint Server: Sandbox

From RTC Client.
Create a new document.
Check out the document.
Opens with MS word.
Update the doc.
Check in via Shared workspace area (MS Word)
Add check in comments
Close the doc.
From SharePoint documents tab (RTC Client) , Select the document and right click.
You will still see check-in option for the document you have just checked in before.
Check-in the document again.
You will see an error ...failed to check in error.

Yes. This is the current product behavior. When there is a check-in that fails, the user should get an appropriate error message.
Documents view is a client that caches the documents state. When a check-in is made from a different client (MS-Word), RTC client is not notified, until next Navigation operation (or if the user press Refresh button - similar to a web browser).

Is the error message customizable? Something to warn the user that he needs to refresh he page?
