permissions definition can inherit from shared project area to consumer PA

Hi All,

I have small confusion on  process role definition. We have shared PA and PA1 PA2 and PA3 consumer PAs.

In Shared PA ,I have defined roles. Team Configuration -->permissions-->roles and premitted actions.

The same role name can I use in my consumer PAs. will  defined role for permitted action  be inherited?

 Thanks,

Kavita

Hi, the answer is YES. when you defined the roles in the project area that provides its process, all its consuming project areas will inherit the permitted action. And you can also customize your consuming project area to override the inherited from project area that provides its process
