what is the difference between Reporting Data Model (DW) and Reporting Data Model (IBM Rational Quality Manager)

When I try to launch query studio, I get a question "Select which package to use." for which there are two options.

Reporting Data Model (IBM Rational Quality Manager)
Reporting Data Model (DW)

I am a test lead and I want to generate a simple report where I want to see all the test cases executed today along with Results and defects if any.

Please help me in creating this report.

If I understand the question correctly, the difference is whether the data is taken from the Live app DB (more up-to-date data, but also some additionalload on the DB server) or the Data Warehouse. The latter is recommended for production uses for performance reasons.

Hi, If I understand your response, I can use the data model DW for non live report and the data model RQM for live report. But I don't understand why the available items are not the same on the 2 data models for example in the query studio. Moreover, in my case, I have succeeded to have result on the data model DW but I have an error on the other data model.... Very strange ...
