Scrollable Large amt of text in Description Field

When opening a workitem that's been created, the description and resolution description fields are expanded - and if large amount of text, it makes the form hard to read. But, if you select "Edit" it becomes "scrollable" and easier to read.
Is there a way to make it always "scrollable"? - like second screenshot here...

Hi Barb,
Unfortunately it is not possible yet in RTC. You can fill new enhancement for that: https://jazz.net/jazz/web/projects/Rational Team Concert#action=com.ibm.team.workitem.newWorkItem&type=enhancement
Alternatively you can use RTC Eclipse client which has that function.
