Problem with creating the Money that Matters sample project

I am working with Jazz Team Server and RTC for educational purposes. Before the installation of sample project, I made sure that
1) Jazz Team Server and  Requirements Management (RM), Change and Configuration Management (CCM), or Quality Management (QM) Applications are installed and they all version 4.0.2
2) Assigned the appropriate Client Access Licenses (CALs) to the user that will install the sample application.  Rational Quality Manager - Quality Professional, Rational Requirements Composer - Analyst, and Rational Team Concert - Developer CALs
During installation artifact creation was the problem and installation timed out.
I use Windows Server 2008 64 for JTS, not virtualized and not clustered environment (if it can help)
Please, help me to figure out what is wrong?

Installation takes too long, the browser displays a 500 error message with the following details: "SocketTimeoutException: Read timed out".

How to solve this problem in Windows Server 2008? Thank you.

Hi Andrey,

I am not sure what happens here. I would suggest to check the server/logs of admin, jts, ccm and qm. It might also be interesting to know in which step this happens.

I found the line in logs.  Do you know how and where I can change socket timeout from 1200 to larger value? It takes long time to install this sample project. I guess my system is not fast enough.

Does it work with a higher Timeout?

I didn't have a chance to check, unfortunately. I have another problem now. This line I found in logs:
Caused by: com.ibm.team.lpa.automation.TaskException: CRJCA0003E The Lifecycle Project Administration (LPA) application made a request that was answered by an unexpected response code. The request was: https://kulpanovich.lan:9443/ccm/clmSampleProject. The response was: HTTP/1.1 400 Bad Request. For more details, open the help system and search for CRJCA0003E.

You have too many issues. I think the install and setup is incorrect or not working.

Please see https://kulpanovich.lan:9443/jts/admin#action=com.ibm.team.repository.admin.serverDiagnostics for diagnostic errors and https://kulpanovich.lan:9443/jts/admin#action=com.ibm.team.repository.admin.registeredApplications for registration errors

Check if you have enough memory provided with respect to the system requirements, add memory if the DB is co-located. Check the server load and swapping.

Avoid installing in Program Files and if you did, start the server from a shell started "As Administrator"

You don't provide information about your install. Maybe try to install a test system, just Tomcat and Derby and check if that works.

Thank you for your advice.  I will definitely recheck everything. I solved  last problem. I accidentally archived one of the users earlier.  And increased timeout is working.  But it is still  creating sample artifacts in /ccm. I hope it will work.
