select person id for quick and the memory usage while using RTC 3.01
Using Jazz v3.01 with IE8
There always lots of person id in the person selecting drop down list.
Though user can input some English letters for filter many person id.
While in a project of non English speaking client, I had to always shift the IME into English mode to filter some one, after choose the right person id, I shift IME back.
I'm tired for doing like this.(By the way, I never choose a person id in the default show of the drop down list.)
Could Jazz put the most useful person id into the default drop down list?
At least, put the id of myself on the top of the drop down list, because it is the most person I choose.
Another problem is, the memory takes of Web Jazz.
I have seen this:
Through what Daniel Pool said, it looks like thers is no such a issue in Jazz at all. But I met this issue everyday. After using Web Jazz for half a day(many times seach, create, update actions), IE always takes1.5Gb ~ 2Gb memory. My total memory is less then 4Gb(32bit Win7), and I need to open RAD and WAS.
Could you give me any suggest about it?
I'm non English speaking person, and I hope you can understand what I said.

I could envision enhancements such as picking the team or the users in the team owning the work item first (see https://jazz.net/jazz/web/projects/Rational%20Team%20Concert#action=com.ibm.team.workitem.viewWorkItem&id=19986) , I could envision most used contributors etc.
There are some work items to enhance this. For example https://jazz.net/jazz/web/projects/Rational%20Team%20Concert#action=com.ibm.team.workitem.viewWorkItem&id=217579 might be of interest.
You could subscribe to one of the existing work items and add a comment with your interest, or you could create a work item on https://jazz.net/jazz/web/projects/Rational%20Team%20Concert#action=com.ibm.team.workitem.viewWelcome with your specific issue.

With respect to IE, have you considered using another browser?
before we deployed RTC v3.01, I could use firefox instead of IE8, but both them were nearly the same of the memory usage. After RTC v3.01 deployed, I can not add any attachment to a work item on firefox, so IE is my only choice.(firefox was v10, I think, now it's updated into v17, and I just tried one more time, it could add attachment now)
