 Hello,
What is the more efficient way to query historical data for items state? For instance I'd like to report on items states from last week versus this week.
Is the table WORKITEMS_CHNGS the way to go?

The information you are looking for is in table WORKITEM_CHNGS stored in the WORKITEMS_SNAPSHOT.
You can find the detail description of the table from https://jazz.net/wiki/bin/view/Main/DataWarehouseSnapshotSchemas20.
