RRC Project Template

David Beange (111364101) | asked Mar 19 '13, 12:02 p.m.
Hi

Once a RRC Project Area has been created and from the "manage project properties" templates tab there are several Project Templates listed. Is it possible to identify which Project Template was used to create the Proejct Area? Or is it possible for an exisiting Project Area to change it's Project template one the PA has been created?

Hi David

Unfortunately I've only "No's"

No there is no way to know the source template ( or at least not on the UI)

The Template is used for the creation (instantiation) only and is not linked to your project. It not like RTC

The template can not be modified. You need to create a project using this template, modify it, and save it as Template. Bad thing here is that you create projects nobody uses and which you can not delete

Hope this helps
