Customizing the RQM page

Rajesh Avanthi (10815145173) | asked Mar 08 '13, 6:28 a.m.
Can the below requirement be achieve in RQM 3.x and 4.x versions

1)   Person log's in.

 2) After logging in, he is shown list of main/parent projects

3) Person chooses the parent project.

4) In the home page, he is shown only the child project to which he/she belongs and not all the projects

Reason being, we have around 15 main projects and each main project contains on an average of 10 child projects in it. This totals to around 150 projects. I do not want to show 150 projects in the initial drop down itself as browsing 150 is time consuming.

RQM doesn't support child projects. The projects which he/she belongs to are in the same level as all other projects.
let me summarize you issue. You have totally around 150 projects. In the drop down list it shows all of them no matter if he/she belongs to them. Correct?

Are you talking about Team Areas?
I don't see an option in RQM to create child project areas.
If it just about showing the projects you are a member of, you can see that in jts/dashboard under 'My Project' widget.
