Luis Chacon (13122) | asked Feb 18 '13, 12:46 p.m.
Hi,
I was installing Rational DOORS Next Generation and therefore installed it with the Rational Jazz Team Server, the installation seems well, but when i try to open http://localhost:9443/jts/ it doesnt load anything and just shows what it is shown on the following screenshot..

I made the whole installation in the C:\IBM directory, and it seemed successfull..

Hope you can help me, thanks

Hi Luis,
I think the problem may be that you are using http in the adress when it requires https. I get the same symptom if I use http, try https://localhost:9443/jts/setup.

Hi, did you run http://localhost:9443/jts/setup and set up the application? Did you use a supported browser?

Please be aware that localhost as public URI is only advisable for quick tests and not for production systems.

Yes, when I try to enter http://localhost:9443/jts/setup it sows the same results, I used Mozilla Firefox and Internet Explorer... i am using localhost because it is intended as an installation to just test the tool and learn about it, not production..

I am not sure what the issue could be. I have not seen that effect for a long time, especially on tomcat. I would

  • Check if the browser version is supported
  • Clear the browser cache
  • Monitor startup of the server and check the logs for issues.
  • Sometimes the WAR files don't unpack. You can delete the folders in server/tomcat/webapps where the war files are unzipped to enforce redeployment
  • What OS did you install on? If you installed into "Program Files", I would reinstall into a folder like C:/clm2012/4.0.1 or something similar.

Did everything.. it is installed in C:/IBM as I said in the original post... it is installed in windows 7... I am pretty sure that my browsers are supported to... the logs doesnt say anything special:
The jts logs says:
2013-02-19 10:23:37,201 [Component Resolve Thread (Bundle 86)]  INFO nternal.OverridablePropertyFileServerConfiguration  - CRJAZ1363I Loading the configuration from "file:/C%3a/IBM/JAZZTE~1/server/conf/jts/teamserver.properties".
