Configuring tomcat to log authentication events
We're using RTC with Tomcat and authenticating with LDAP.
I want to log authentication events for users accessing RTC so we can
see who's authenticating, and if unsuccessfully, who they're trying to
authenticate as. Is this just a matter of configuration? I did some
poking around the Tomcat documentation but nothing jumped out.
Thanks, brian

I'm not sure how you can do that. I think you had the right approach
looking at the Tomcat documentation, and perhaps you could ask on the
Tomcat mailing list. If you find out how to do it, it would be a great
topic to put on the Jazz.net wiki.

By the way, if using WebSphere as the app server, I assume there's a
similar way to enable logging of authentication events. Is that
documented somewhere as well?
Thanks, Brian

Will do.
