Easier way for maintaining enumeration literals

Is there an easy way to perform mass edits on the values of an enumeration? The current options presented by the UI are only geared towards edits for a few lines but we need something that can accommodate changes to several (>10 at a time). A table-based editor or a free form text editor would be nice.
