Burndown chart in RTC - permission denied

Hi everybody,

In our environment we do have two new roles established.

There exists the additional role “Team Admin” for organizationally stuff. For technical reasons this role is splatted in two parts, the “Team Admin T” on the team level and the “Team Admin P” on project level.

Team Member, Scrum Master and Product Owner:

  • handle with Work Items
  • create and run Work Item Query’s
  • work with the Source Control (SCM)
  • access to the Build System
  • handle with the planning components
  • create and modify the Team Dashboards
  • execute reports

Team Admin (Team Admin T and Team Admin P)

  • invite new users to a team
  • assign a role to the user-
  • create and modify Streams (SCM)
  • delete Work Items
  • create and modify the iterations
  • modify the Project Area Dashboard
This means on project area level there one or two "Team Admin P"s and no Team Member. Team Members are only within the Team Area.

Our problem is now that it seems that reports are technical assigned to the project area, that means that only member of the top level can view reports, e.g. the burndown chart.

The rest gets a permission denied.

Can this be changed?
Maybe that those charts are hirarchically in each TeamArea present that it's enough that a member of a TeamArea can view them?

Greetings,
Simon

Simon, have you tried giving the Everyone (default) role the "Reports/Display Report" permission?
