Translator variables in dependency-based build and ant with ee build

We see in RTC 4.0 EE that the translator variables in a dependency-based build are being substituted, when having a overwrite on the file level.

With the same source, same language definition, same translator on a ANT with EE build definition, the build always uses the translator value of the variable and not the overwrite from the file.

Do you experience the same behavior? Maybe a bug?

File Level variable override is only supported in the Dependency Build definitions.  See https://jazz.net/wiki/bin/view/Main/ProgramLevelCompileOptions for a full description of the function.
