Hi Jazz-Team,
I installed 1.0.1 client and tried it...
The feature:
"Web query results columns can now include linked artifacts"
does not seem to work. The children column is not displayed in me Web
query interface.
Do I need to install the 1.0.1 server too?

In the interim, if you need to update your client to the RTC 1.0.1 bits
you should be able to accomplish this by downloading one of the RTC
1.0.1 installation manager installers (web or local) and installing the
offering into the same shell as your 7.5 RAD/RSA. Note that 1.0.1 and
1.0 are compatible so there should be no hard requirement to update.

I didn't see any discussion about how to upgrade your client if you
are are using RTC embedded in RAD 7.5 (or RSA 7.5). Should the
Installation Manager still work for these?

Thanks for the quick reply, James. That "disparity" will get a lot more interesting when/if a time comes when a client update is required and for some reason we're stuck waiting on a RAD/RAS update to right the ship. Hope that doesn't actually happen -- as a "customer", I'm technically in untested waters doing what you suggest (though I realize it isn't likely to cause an issue). It would certainly be helpful if either the RTC team or the RAD/RSA team could provide some currency testing around this so that even if we don't have an update for the hosting product, we at least have their blessing that poking in the changes should work fine and not disrupt development. I can hardly imagine a reason to run the RTC client independently for most users.
A question about your "no hard requirement to update": What do I lose by not updating my client? That might even be an interesting item to cover in the New and Noteworthy post to help people decide whether or not to roll out client updates.
