Does repotools work on a Mac?
Hi,
I'm wondering if repotools work on a Mac. I got a RTC server running on a Mac, after pointing the JRE to the appropriate JRE on the Mac and modifying a Tomcat configuration to use the Sun's JVM rather than the IBM JVM. However, I am having trouble to get the repotools import working. More specifically, I got the following error: CRJAZ1218I The bundle "com.ibm.team.repository.service.jdbc4" with the id 50 is invalid, it is not RESOLVED. To ignore invalid bundles, re-run repotools with the following property definition enabled in the script: -Dcom.ibm.team.repotools.rcp.allowInvalidBundles=true CRJAZ1225I Migration failed. Thanks very much for any help on this. Annie |

Can you give us a little more detail about the JVM on the Mac? What
version is it? I believe that it will be safe to ignore the problem using the workaround suggested in the output. I didn't think that we package the "com.ibm.team.repository.service.jdbc4" plugin in our server package. Do you get that error when running the server package from jazz.net, or did you make modifications of some sort? Matt Lavin Jazz Server Team aying wrote: Hi, |
Hi Matt,
Thanks for your reply. The workaround suggested in the output actually seems to work. I tried exporting a database and then importing it again. Repotools declared success in both migration operations and the server with the imported database *seems* to work fine. Do you have colleagues in your team using Mac and successfully used repotools on a Mac? FYI, the JVM is Sun's Java(TM) 2 Runtime Environment, Standard Edition (build 1.5.0_16-b06-275) that comes with MacOX 10.4.11. The Jazz server is version 1.0, Standard Edition, straight from jazz.net, without any modification. Annie |
