What type of Project Area should be used in order to using Simulink manual importer to import Simulink model to RDM

 Hi

I was kind of confused though I have read through some document about RDM.
I'm trying to use Simulink Manual Importer to upload .mdl file to RDM server
but met with some issues.

There are couple of existed project areas defined in the RDM server.
Some are set as "Managed Externally", some are set as "Actively Managed".
Can anyone advice which type of Project Area I should use or either type is OK?

Thank You
Best Regards

I believe either can be used.
You must however add the Simulink domain to the project (project properties)

Thanks a lot for help, Stephen.

I couldn't try right now as the env is not accessible from my desktop.(will do that later).

Regarding your above answer, hope I can confirm below with you.
If I choose "Managed Externally" when I create a new project area, whether Simulink Domain would be included by default?

In my env, I can work fine with Importer Engine, but got failed with manual importer.
I would do further check early tomorrow.

Thank You
Best Regards
