 Ubuntu 12.04. RTC 4.0.1

When I hover the mouse over a work item link (e.g. "attachments") I see a box with black background (with 'Press F2 for focus' text in the right bottom corner). The problem is that the majority of text in the box is also of black foreground color. This results in a simply black box. One way to reveal text is to Press F2 and then drag mouse to highlight the text -- and only then I can see that there is something there. This makes using hover popups inconvenient to use.

I've searched RTC preferences for any adjustment for the background color but found none.

Any tips on how to fix this?

Thank you
