Hi,

Is there a way to fetch parent id in the email template section? If so how it can be done?

no way to customize the email in version 3.

Have you read https://jazz.net/library/article/957? Although it does not mention the parent, if you follow the links to https://jazz.net/wiki/bin/view/Main/EmailTemplates and look for links, it implies you could try to iterate the links of a work item based on a type. However, there is no hint on how to access the parent work item itself in the template. You should be able to print its URL, but that seems to be about it.

Is Email template facility is vaialable in RTC 3.0.1.1?

I want to edit email template and send email when -

1] New Defect has been created

2] Defect has been assigned to someone

3] Overdue of defect resolution

If this feature is not available in RTC 3.0.1.1 , is there any other way to get it done?
