How to cerate/generate report of executed STAX jobs

we are executing multiple STAX jobs using RQM "Execution schedule" functionality.
After execution RQM shows STAX logs and result status . We are interested in creating report
which can have test case details/status .
Is there any functinality wherein we can create/generate report using STAX logs created in RQM
or anyone has any oher suggestion.

Hi, for now RQM doesn't support to render the STAX execution status via report, yet there are some workaround to make it, when we run STAX jobs, we might use some predefined test cases, for the Execution Status using TCER count report, we can set these test cases as report parameter to filter out and just check the test cases for STAX execution, and only TCERs for STAX execution status will be shown in the report. Hope it make sense.

Hey,

We have tried with the suggestion wherein we have certain queries:

1.In execution status, under resource tab, do we have to select any specific resource. We had selected Machine v/s TCER count(Live).

2.Do we have to do any specific test plan selection associated with that test case.

3.Can we fetch automation report .

4.We are able to see only TCERs for test case execution status but not as STAX job execution status.

I dont think stax job execution status would come under the test case execution report.
Test case execution report displays the status of the execution of test case that were executed within RQM.

In case of Stax, the execution is being done outside RQM and therefore there is no predefined report for this.
You may however capture the results under 'All Automation' section in RQM.

Thanks Rajat for your reply. We are able to capture the results under 'All Automation' section in RQM. However, we were trying the work around suggested by Yong Hao Zhou where we are unable to generate report as per STAX execution result. Can Yong Hao Zhou  please provide some more details about the same.

Sorry for my misunderstanding, just as Rajat said, our execution report won't pick up the STAX execution result since it's not executed within RQM, the result information won't be stored in RQM repository, and the report won't display them. Let me check with team to search for workaround.

Hi,

Some of the issues we are facing while generating report are:

Whenever a new automation is saved, it gets scheduled for automatically next 15 minutes and we have to wait till the desired time. Is there any built-in option in RQM to reduce that time interval for scheduling automation jobs?

When automation is over, to fetch the result, we go to Execution schedule tab->Execution schedule history. In that tabular form of result, we have a message field along with test case result as Pass/Fail. This message field is always empty during our results. What could be the reason behind that message is blank?

You may modify the integration_config file to change the scan interval.
By default it is placed under <RQM Installation Directory>/Server/Conf/QM.

In this file locate the <scanInterval>value</scanInterval> and replace the value with the duration you prefer.
