Managing multiple teams and iteration plans within a sprint

We have a sprint
The work is being performed by a set of small teams
We would like to view the sprints progress as a whole and also each teams progress.

We have created iteration plans for each team and a category for each team which associates the work items nicely. However, the burndown charts are nt working when we do this : https://jazz.net/jazz/web/projects/Jazz%20Project#action=com.ibm.team.workitem.viewWorkItem&id=62915

That gets us 90% of where we would like to be.
However, even if our teams are child teams of a larger team there does not seem to be a way to view the sprint as a while. That is all the child teams iteration plans under a parent iteration plan.

I am sure that there must be a good way to do this. Any help ?

I and others in our projects thought there should be some option in a parent team's iteration plan Planned Items list to show the child team's iteration plan Planned Items. I could not find any option to do that. In searching in this forum I found https://jazz.net/forums/viewtopic.php?t=2293. The response there indicates that is it some how possible to have work items for child teams show up if those work items are added as children to a parent's work item. On an initial attempt at this it did not work for me or perhaps I did not understand the explanation. I have to experiment more.
