Hi, does anybody know why archived categories are still shown on plans?

One way to go around this is to reassign any work items from this category, and then filter / exclude empty groups. But this solution will make all empty categories invisible, and take away your ability to quickly reassign work items to these categories.

Any comments?

Sorry Morten, i missed the point. Interesting question. I looked into 4.0.1 and I see the same.

This is a defect and you can see that it has been fixed in the latest, in-house development line RTC 5.0.1 Sprint 1
