How can I filter on broken links in RRC 3.0.1.4

Our user have created relation between two types of artifacts. In parallel, some clean up has been done, and some artifact deleted.

Now I have several artifacts having a link to nowhere. Displaying the link in the browser view (grid) shows:

https://server/...

Any way to search for those?

Thanks

Hi Erwin, If this is still an issue that you're seeing, please open a PMR with the RRC support team as we have a tool available: FindOrphanedContentLinks - that can be used to clean up the orphaned links when the links between the 2 artifacts were created using the following steps:

  1. Create two artifacts: Artifact A and B
  2. Edit artifact A and select some text and create link to artifact B
  3. Save and Done on artifact A.
  4. Delete artifact B
  5. Open artifact A and hover over the textual link.
If your links were not created using text, but are traceability links, then we have a different tool that may be helpful: ScanForOrphanedLinks that is designed to locate those traceability links where the target has been deleted.
