Dynamically Display Certain WI Attributes

Hi all,

Is it possible to customize a work item so a particular attribute will only display if a certain enumerated value was selected in a previous attribute?  That is, you have an attribute called "Technology Stuff" which contains 3 enumerated values "Computer", "Phone", "Calculator".  Now if the user selects "Computer" we would like a new attribute to display called "OS", which might contain values like "Windows", "Linux", "AIX", etc.  The OS attribute is not valid for "Phone" or "Calculator", so we would only want it to display if the user had selected "Computer" for the "Technology Attribute".

Thanks,
-Jim

Hi James, I think, since RTC 4.0 you can use the operational behavior (precondition) Read-Only Attributes for Condition. (I have not yet played with it.)
