Permissions to view projects

Olivier CRIDLIG (52610) | asked Sep 27 '12, 10:23 a.m.
Hi,

When I log in as a user with permission "JazzUsers", I don't see all the projects (on the web and from RAD).

What is the rule for a user to see a project ?

I use the version 3.0.1.2 of RTC.

Thanks,

Olivier

Ahh, sorry, my mistake... You should see all of the project areas by default unless access control has been set on the project areas.

Hello,

By default, project areas are created with the access control set so that only project or team members can see the project area. This began with RTC 3.0 (before that, project areas were visible by everyone by default).

As Clement Liu points out, the visibility of a project area is tied to its Access Control setting.
